The group has been set up to restore a Great Western Railway Tri Composite toplight coach no 7545 which was built by the Great Western Railway in Swindon, England in 1907.If we could build up a team of volunteers then it is hoped we could restore more than one vehicle, with the long term eventual aim of having a short vintage GWR train to run on the Swindon & Cricklade Steam Railway.

It is intended to restore 7545 to the condition it would have been in the early 1920s when painted in the fully lined out chocolate and cream livery rather than the dark maroon colour scheme it would have had when originally built.
